Abigail Dee Antigua, Pharm.D.
Abigail Dee Antigua, Pharm.D., is a clinical specialist in surgical intensive care at Shands at the University of Florida and clinical assistant professor of the University of Florida College of Pharmacy.
Dr. Antigua received her Pharm.D. from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. She completed her Pharmacy Practice residency at Shands and specialty residency in Critical Care at the University of Washington Medical Center/Harborview Medical Center, and served as clinical instructor at the University of Washington School of Pharmacy.
She is active in both the Society of Critical Care Medicine Clinical Pharmacy as a journal club moderator as well as the North Central Florida Health-System Pharmacists as the President-elect.
Her areas of interest are quality improvement projects in the ICU, solid organ transplant and prevention of thromboembolic events in surgical patients.
Jenny Ashton, Pharm.D.
Jenny Ashton, Pharm.D., is a clinical specialist in Cardiovascular Medicine and Surgery at Shands at the University of Florida. She is also a clinical assistant professor of pharmacy practice at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy.
Dr. Ashton received her Pharm.D. from the University of Florida. She completed her Pharmacy Practice residency at Shands at the University of Florida and a specialty residency in Critical Care at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center. Her areas of interest include perioperative arrhythmias following cardiothoracic surgery and infectious diseases management of critically ill patients.
Jennifer Bushwitz, Pharm.D.
Jennifer Bushwitz, Pharm.D., is a clinical specialist in the NeuroIntensive Care Unit at Shands at the University of Florida and a clinical assistant professor of the University of Florida College of Pharmacy.
Dr. Bushwitz received her Pharm.D. from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy in 2008 and completed her PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Shands at the University of Florida. She then went on to complete her PGY-2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
Aimée C. LeClaire, Pharm.D.
Aimée C. LeClaire, Pharm.D., is an assistant director of Inpatient Pharmacy Services, chief of critical care clinical pharmacy services, and director for the PGY-2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency Program, in addition to being a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in the surgical intensive care units at Shands at the University of Florida. Her primary clinical practice area is burn intensive care. She is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy.
Dr. LeClaire received her Pharm.D. from Butler University. She completed a pharmacy practice residency and a critical care specialty pharmacy residency at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center. She is active in both the Society of Critical Care Medicine Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology Section as well as the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. Her areas of interest include nosocomial infections and prevention of venous thromboembolic events in surgical populations.
Nicole T. Peterson, Pharm.D., BCPS
Nicole T. Peterson, Pharm.D., BCPS, is a clinical specialist in medical intensive care at Shands at the University of Florida and clinical assistant professor at the University of Florida College of Pharmacy.
Dr. Peterson received her Pharm.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She completed her pharmacy practice residency at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon and her specialty residency in critical care at The Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Peterson is board-certified in pharmacotherapy and her areas of interest include pulmonary hypertension, fluid management and hemodynamic support in sepsis and drug dosing in dialysis therapies.
Karly L. O’Brien, Pharm.D.
Karly L. O’Brien, Pharm.D., is a clinical specialist in Trauma/Surgical Intensive Care at Shands at the University of Florida.
Dr. O’Brien received her Pharm.D. from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. She completed her PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at MCG Health with the University of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia and her PGY-2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency at Shands at the University of Florida.
Her areas of interest include traumatic brain injury and the prevention and treatment of ICU delirium.
Steve Lemon, Pharm.D.
Steve Lemon, Pharm.D., is a clinical specialist in critical care and nutrition support and clinical assistant professor of the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. Dr Lemon received his Pharm.D. from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy. He completed his Pharmacy Practice Residency and Critical Care Specialty Residency at the University of Kentucky HealthCare. His areas of interest are hemostasis, immunonutrition and sepsis.
